Thomas, I was in the “heart of America” for a few days. Actually, Dayton was my first destination on my entire trip.

And jealous of your empire? Whilst world domination and all that stuff do feature on my “to-do” list, I don’t think I would get a kick out of the fact that my tax dollars are feeding armies in countries I cannot even pronounce.

Kelly, as a pot smoking, liberal, homosexual living in San Francisco, my opinion is we have no shame being from Ohio. In general most people are stupid, and I have met my fair share of opinionated and stupid citizens of the world. 50 / 50 chance Elias has any idea where is Ohio, even after meeting you. Being a citizen of the American empire can be discouraging, but whenever an outsider passes judgement looking in, the only explaination is they are jealous. Hang in there, and eventually you may live east of the Hudson River or west of the San Francisco Bay.

I must take this opportunity to clear my name, as Elias has successfully disparaged it on his blog. Yes, I am aware of the significant impact his blog has on the world. First things first, I, Kelly (the girl he met in Belgrade and travelled to the subsequent places with), am NOT a “valley girl,” in any way, shape, or form. . .regardless of what my passport photo indicates. In fact, I study Philosophy and World Religions, specifically, Buddhism and Sanskrit. . .come on, what “valley girl” can make such a claim. As for being from hick town ohio. . .well, this is true, however, I have lived at my university for 4 years, and while surrounded by white trash, our campus is by far and away the greatest in the country. . .we party harder than any other place in the world I have visited.

On the other hand, I will accept his compliments, because of course these are true.
